Lilian Nganga was born on June 22, 1985, Kiambu County, Kenya. She was raised by struggling parents, Mr and Mrs Nganga, who were ready to ensure a better lifestyle for their children.
She received a scholarship and got the opportunity to have a good education. She went to Thogotho Girls High School, Kiambu for her secondary education. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the University of Nairobi. She went further in her education and obtained a master’s degree in Science and Project Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology.
Career
Lilian Nganga began her career working in the Safari Park Hotel and left after one year.
She joined Kenyan Airways and worked there for almost 6 years, where she showed so much passion and intelligence in her line of duty.
She delved into the modelling industry while also showing her entrepreneurial side with the unveiling of a beauty parlour. She later close down the beauty parlour when things did not go as planned.
She launched a tour company and became successful with her knowledge of hospitality and tourism.
Nganga is also a philanthropist who has helped to create awareness for cancer. She has assisted lots of poor children with their school fees and other necessities of life through her Lilian Nganga Foundation.
