Jacqueline Acheampong popularly known as Gyakie, is a Ghanaian singer and songwriter born on December 16, 1998. She is an Afro fusion artist known for her single “Never Like This”.

Gyakie has a unique voice which compliments her music style of infusing English language, Twi and Ga. She is well known for her attention grabbing songs, often characterized with her love songs.
She has been able to develop her passion with music influences from the likes of Asa and Efya.
Early Life
Gyakie was born and raised in Bompso, a surburb of Kumasi where she still reside.
She is originally a native of Abuakwa, Kumasi.
She is the daughter of the popular Ghanaian high-life legend Ernest ‘Owoahene’ Nana Acheampong well known as Nana Acheampong, one half of the famous Lumba Brothers.
She went to TI Amass in Kumasi for her secondary education and also major on International Business at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Career
Gyakie had passion for music at a tender age and came through professionally in 2019.
She released her debut EP “Seed” in August 2020. The project comprises of 5 solid tracks and full of different sounds.
She got her first feature with the high-life sensation, Bisa Kdei on the single “Sor Mi Mu” as released in 2020.
Gyakie came to limelight with the single “Never Like This” which was accompanied with a music video.
She is managed by FLIP THE MUSIC, are the management that supports her music career despite not signed to a record label.
