Early Life
Chloe Bailey was born on July 1, 1998 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
She has a sister named Halle Bailey who is also a singer and songwriter and a younger brother, Branson Bailey. She grew up alongside her siblings in Mableton, Georgia and later moved to Los Angeles.
Career
Chloe and her sister, Halley were taught by their father on how to write songs at a very tender age and they came through with a cover of Beyonce’s “Best Thing I Never Had”.
They launched their YouTube chanel and they started uploading covers of songs with the name Chloe X Halle.
Both made their talk show debut with appearance on the Ellen show in April 2012 and also had a vameo appearance in the Disney series, Austin & Hally where the performed the song “Unstoppable”.
Bailey became part of the cast of the TV series, Grown-ish in 2018 and was also announced to be part of the horror film, The Georgetown project, in November 2019.
She has been able to develop her passion for music with influence from the likes of Beyonce, Missy Elliot and Imogen Heap.
She announced the release of her debut single “Have Mercy” in August 2021, which is also a lead single off her debut studio album.
