Early Life
Alexx Ekubo was born on April 10, 1986 in Port Harcourt and hails from Arochukwu, Abia state, South eastern part of Nigeria.
He attended Federal Government College Daura in Kaduna state for his secondary education before proceeding to the University of Calabar where he studied Law and also a diploma in Mass Communication from Calabar Polytechnic in cross river state, Nigeria.
Career
Alexx joined the Nigerian movie industry in 2005 where he got his first role in the movie “Sinners in the House” as produced and directed by Lancelot Oduwa Imaseun.
The handsome actor came to limelight with the blockbuster movie “Ladies Men” and since then, he has acted in more than 50 Nollywood movies such as; True Citizens, Undercover lover, Dream Walker, Weekend Getaway, Gold Diggin, All that Glitters, Diary of a Lagos girl, single married and complicated and many others.
Aside acting, the talented actor was a contestant at Mr. Nigerian pageant hosted by Silverbird Television where he emerged as as the first runner-up He also had cameo appearance from Yemi Alade’s “Johnny” video.
Personal Life
Alexx Ekubo got engaged to Fancy Acholonu, a US based Nigerian model and actress in May 2021 before they called it quit.
They got engaged in May 2021 with the traditional wedding scheduled to hold on November 20, 2021 at Imo State and the church wedding on November 27 in Lagos State.
However, just three months down the line both decided to go their separate ways and in what seem to be a rumor after they deleted their joint Instagram account, Fancy finally took to her Instagram page to confirm the rumors that the engagement has been called off.

“Hey guys I am writing to inform you all officially that I have ended my relationship and I have called off the wedding with Alex Ekubo,”
