Born Sacha Gaston Boey on September 13, 2000 in Montreui, France. He is a Cameroonian by descent and he is eligible to play for both countries.
Career
Sacha Boey began his career at the youth level with Romainville in 2011 and went through the youth ranks of Red Star and Rennes from 2012 to 2019.
He made his professional debut with Rennes in a 2-2 draw with Toulouse FC on May 5, 2019. He joined Dijon on a season long loan on October 5, 2020.
He signed a contract with Galatasary valid until the end of the 2024-25 season. He eventually signed for Bayern Munich in January 2024.
At the international scene, he represented France at the under-17, under-18, under-20, and under-21 levels. He was included as part of the Cameroon squad for the 2021 Aftica Cup of Nations but was omitted from the final squad. He was also part of the squad for Cameroon’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Algeria and was omitted once again from the squad.
