Born Radu Mateo Dragusin on February 3, 2002 in Bucharest, Romania to parents, Svetlana and Dan Dragusin. He has a younger sister named Meira who plays basketball.
Career
Radu Dragusin began his career at the youth level with Sportul Studențesc in 2009 and also went through the youth ranks of Regal Sport Bucureşti and Juventus.
He made his first team debut with Juventus in 2020 and went on loan to Sampdoria in 2021 and later went on loan to Salernitana and Genoa in 2022 and 2023 respectively. He signed a permanent deal with Genoa in 2023. English club Tottenham and Genoa have all documents completed for his signing in 2024.
At the international scene, Dragusin represented Romania at the under-17, under-19 and under-21 levels. He was called up to the senior team in March 2022 and made his debut in a 1-0 loss to Greece. He was also included in the squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers where he started in all ten matches while helping his team wining their group.
