Early Life
Kehinde Olorunyomi was born on January 13, 1981. She has three sisters, who were all raised by their mother. Their mum was a journalist, and the family lived in Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, and Abuja at different times.
She obtained a B.A in English Language from the Lagos State University, Ojo, and a diploma in Screenwriting from the London Academy of Radio, Film, and Television. She also have a character make-up degree from the Cinema Make-up School in Los Angeles, California.
Career
Olorunyomi started acting in 1998 with a role in the TV series, One Love, produced by Tajudeen Adepetu.
She came through professionally in 2011 with the television program Everyday People. She came to the limelight for her role as Stella Lord-Williams in the defunct soap opera Domino. She also played the role of Tomiwa Ajayi in the TV series Tinsel
She starred in the Nigerian romantic comedy film Bachelor’s Eve, alongside the likes of Dorris Simeon, Gbenro Ajibade, Jumoke Odetola, Kehinde Bankole, and Wole Ojo.
She has starred in other movies such as Divorce not allowed, The novelist, Forever Within US, and Couple’s Award, where she starred alongside the likes of Regina Chukwu, Kate Henshaw, and Gloria Mba.
As a screenwriter, she came through with the movie Mamush in 2006. She has also written over 50 titles which has been produced into movies and series for production companies such as M-Net Africa’s AMOF ( Africa Magic Original Films), Ego Boyo, Bimbo Akintola, Charles Okafor, Uche Jombo, to mention a few.
She is also the CEO of the film production company Nextlevel Cinema, which she launched in 2012. She has produced five movies such as One Moment in Time, The Novelist, Tesho,, Husbands of Lagos Season 1 for Iroko TV, Missing Steps, Oge’s Sister, The Patient, and The Perfect Plan.
She made her directorial debut in the film Couple’s Award, where she starred and was also the screenwriter.
