Early Life
Young Stunna was born Sandile Msimango on November 17, 1997, in Gauteng, South Africa. He was raised in a Christian background. His father has a tavern which had a jukebox and his mother was a vocalist.
He went to Benoni West Primary and Lee Rand High School for his basic and high school education. He completed his education at Unity Secondary School in Daveyton.
Career
Stunna began singing in the church where he developed his passion for music. He started music professionally as a hip hop singer before delving into Amapiano.
He came to limelight for his feature on Felo Le Tee and Mellow & Sleazy’s amapiano hit single “Bopha”.
He came through with his debut album “Notumato” in October 2021. The album features top South African singers such as Blxckie, Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, and Sizwe Alakaine. He was also part of K.O’s top charting single “SETE” alongside Blxckie.
He got more exposure for his single Adiwele, which reached number 1 across SA radio with 23.4 million impressions.
