Mayling Ng was born in 1975 in Liverpool, England to a Singaporean-Chinese father and British mother. She has four brothers namely; Neil Ng, Robert Ng, Chan Ng, and Anthony Chan Ng.
She grew up innTenerife, Canary Islands where she attended Calderstones Schools in Liverpool. Her family moved to Spain and then to Singapore before finally moving to California where Ng now resides.
Career
Mayling Ng started acting with roles in theatre play. She got a chance to play the role of Sally Bowles Lead Dancer in the play Carabet.
She made her professional acting debut with a role as Yasmin in the film Mister John, as directed by Joe Lawlor and Christine Molloy. She followed up with a role in the action-drama movie Bloodfight.
She eventually came to the limelight for her role as Orana in the movie Wonder Woman and got more exposure for her role of Mongal in The Suicide Squad.
