At the age of seven, her family moved to London, England, where she had her education. She went to Northumberland Park Community School and also enrolled at the Identity School of Acting.
Career
Wright started acting professionally in 2006 with a role in the film Akeelah and the Bee.
She starred in two episodes of the television drama series Holby City and Top Boy, in 2011. She followed up with a small role in the film My Brother the Devil, in 2012.
