Born Nathan Adewale Temitayo Tella on July 5, 1999 in Lambeth, England. He grew up in Stevenage, Hertfordshire and had his education at Edwinstree Middle School and then Freman College. He is of Nigerian descent.
Career
Nathan Tella began his career at the youth level with Arsenal in 2007 and went through the youth academy of Southampton.
He made his senior debut for Southampton in a 3-0 victory against Norwich City on June 19, 2020.
He joined Burnley on a season long loan on August 11, 2022. He later signed a five-year contract for Bayer Leverkusen on August 27, 2023, for a reported fee of £20 million.
