Kwaw Kese was born Emmanuel Kofi Botwe on October 7, in Agona Swedru, Ghana.
He attended Happy Home Secondary School and Winneba Secondary School for his secondary education.
Career
Kwaw Kese began composing songs at the age of 14. He worked as a meter reader for the Electricity Company of Ghana for three years after his high school education. He left the job to focus on music.
He launched his record label Mad-Time Entertainment in 2005 and came through with his debut solo album “Na Ya Tal”. He came to the limelight for the release of his second album “Abodam” in 2007.
