Kuli Chana was born on August 27, 1982 in Mmabatho, North West, South Africa.
Career
Khuli Chana developed passion for music at a very tender age where he began to rap while also writing songs.
He came through professionally as a member of a rap group known as ‘Morafe’. The group took a break from releasing music together and therefore, Khuki Chana went a solo career.
He eventually came to limelight for his album “Motswakoriginatir” as released in 2009. The album has a mix of the Setswana and English languages.
He released his second studio album “Lost in Time” in 2012 and followed up with his third album “One Source” in 2017.
He released his fourth album “Planet of the Have Nots” in 2019. The album was widely accepted by music fans, and with hit songs like “Freshne”, “All Hail”, “Never Grow Up” and “No More Hunger”, there is certainly enough to be served on every music platforms.
Khuli Chana has shared stage with the Canadian rapper, Drake and also worked with the likes of Sarkodie, Cassper Nyovest, Victoria Kimani, Da L.E.S and the Nigerian dance-hall sensation, Patoranking.
He also became a brand ambassador for the vodka brand, Absolute.

Lamiez Holworthy got married to Khuli Chana in November 2019. The couple started up as friends and dated for many years before they eventually tied the knot in 2019. Lamiez Holworthy is a South African disc jockey and TV host.
Although, they are yet to have a child together, Khuli Chana already has a daughter before their marriage.
He was previously in a relationship with Asanda Maku in 2010 and they have a daughter together named, Nia Lefika (born July 10, 2013).
