Lamiez Holworthy (born June 12, 1992) popularly known as DJ Lamiez Disc, is a South African Jockey, TV presenter, media personality, entrepreneur and philanthropist. She came to prominence as the host of the popular SABC show, Life AMP. She is also known as the host of the show “Living The Dream” on Tshwane TV.
She was recognised as one of the top 100 female DJ’s in the world and the one of the best Female DJ in Africa in 2019. Lamiez is also identified for her body tattoos and unique hairstyle.

Early Life
Lamiez Holworthy was born on June 12, 1992 in Pretoria, Gauteng Province, South Africa to an Indian mother and black father.
She was raised by her mother, Imelda Klow alongside her two siblings
She is from Pretoria but she grew up in a predominantly Indian community, Laudium, and she could only speak English and Afrikaans before she taught herself vernac. Her father, Enver passed away in April 2019.
She went to Andrew Anthony primary, Sunnyside primary and Kwaggasrand primary, for her primary school education. She attended Pro Arte Alphen Park for her secondary education which she completed at Laudium secondary. She also studied Media at the Boston media House in 2012.
Career
Lamiez started her career as an underground disc jockey while learning and mastering the art of mixing in 2010.
She delved into the showbiz in 2013 where she was guest DJ on DJ Malwela’s show on Tshwane FM. She also began doing a lifestyle show called “Living The Dream” on Tshwane TV. Her main aim has ways been to end up in the entertainment industry and that alone means lots of achievement to her.
After many years of hardwork, Lamiez rose to fame as she became the host of the pooular SABC show, Life AMP.
As a disc jockey, she has performed at various festivals and events which include; Boiler Room, Cooler Boxing Day Festival, Spring Fiesta and so on.
She was also recognised as one of the top 100 female DJ’s in the world and the one of the best Female DJ in Africa in 2019.

Personal Life
Lamiez Holworthy got married to Khuli Chana in November 2019. The couple started up as friends and dated for many years before they eventually tied the knot in 2019.
Although, they are yet to have a child together, Khuli Chana already has a daughter before their marriage.

DJ Lamiez loves riding motorcycles and thus got her first bike, Harley (Davidson) in 2018. She also has other cars in her garage.
