Early Life
Blxckie was born on June 5, 1999 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
He studied Psychology at one the prestigious University in Johannesburg.
Career
Blxckie started out as a poet before he became a rapper. He began dropping music on SoundCloud prior to fame.
He developed his passion with music influences from the likes of Ski Mask, Kendrick Lamar and Lira.
He came through professionally in 2017 and rose to fame in 2020 for his hit single “Big Time Shlappa”. He followed up with the release of another single titled “Uppity”.
He is a member of the Durban based rappers, Clout Internet Boyz, a music group known for its unique sound of melodic trap. Some of the members of the group are; Almega, LeoDa Leo, J Shoddy, Shizze, LowkeyHilkey and Soulkit.
He has worked on numerous projects as a music producer and also released EPs and singles alike.
