Jamie Adenuga (born May 4, 1985) with the stage name as JME, is a British singer, disc jockey and record producer well known for Grime music genre. He came to prominence for his album “Grime MC” which was described by Pitchfork as “the strongest record of his career”.
He is also the co-founder of the crew and label, Boy Better Know and already boast of more than three albums to his credit.

Early Life
Jme was born in Hackney on Mayb4, 1985 to a Nigerian family grew up in Tottenham, North London.
He went to St. Paul’s School and later proceeded to Winchmore School in Winchmore Hill, Enfield alongside his younger brother, Jason, elder brother Joseph (Skepta) and sister Julie.
He also studied 3D Digital Design at the University of Greenwich.
Career
Jme began doing music with fruity loops, Pro tools and Logic Studio. He also produced using the Mario Paint and Game Boy Camera.
He co-founded the record label, Boy Better Know and came through with his debut album “Famous”.
He began to release exciting singles which include; “Over Me”, “Sidetracked” alongside Wiley and “CD is Dead” with Tempa T. All the three singles were featured on the album “Bam!” as released on October 4, 2010.
Jme followed up with compilation album titled “History” as released on February 13, 2011.
He released his third studio album “Integrity>” on May 4, 2015, years after dishing out his 2012 single “96 Fuckeries”.

He was away from the music scene for up to eleven months and finally came through with his fourth studio album “Grime MC”, on November 29, 2019.

Jme got married to his longtime girlfriend, Sarah Cavanah in August 2016,. They have a daughter together named Rose, born in May 2018.
He is a brother to Julie Adenuga, Beats 1 DJ and Radio host, Joseph Adenuga (Skepta), who is a grime artists and Jason, a graphic designer and producer.
