Early Life & Background
Winnie was born on July 20, 1989 in Namasuba to Mr Henry Kabiito (father), a businessman and Mrs late Sarah Namuddu (mother).She was raised by a single father.
She attended St. Agnes Naggalama primary school. She also went to East High from senior one to senior two, Migaddee College from senior three to senior four and Namagabi in Kayunga for her A-level.
Career
Nwagi had passion for music at a very early age while making music in school. She emerged second runner up at the second season of CocaCola Rated Next in 2014.
She was later signed to Swangz Avenue, a premier record label in Kampata. She released numerous songs such as; Kyowulila, Gwenoonya, Embeera, Katono Katono and so on.
Winnie came to limelight in 2016 after releasing her song “Musawo” which boast of massive airplay on both Television and Radio stations across the country. The song also got a rendered acoustic version from the Ugandan singer, Irene Ntale.

Personal Life
Winnie Nwagi was said to be engaged to a reggae singer, Valentino Rukundoye Joshua popularly known as General C’zabu and both have a daughter together. She met him at the CocaCola Rated Next in 2014.
Both Winnie and C’zabu marriage didn’t last for a long time as they later went their separate ways.

Winnie has won several awards for her effort in the industry which include the likes of Best Female Artist at Zzina awards (2017) and Super diva stand out Act at Hipipo awards (2019).
