Jide Awobona is a fast rising Nigerian actor and entrepreneur born on February 9.
Awobona was born and raised in Lagos but originally hails from Ogun State.
He had both his primary and secondary education in Lagos and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Oabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.
Career
Awobona started acting in 2003 with his first role in the Wale Adenuga TV series, Super Story “Last Honour”.
He came to limelight for his role as ‘Sam’ in the popular Funke Akindele’s tv series “Jenifa Diaries”.
Jide has also starred in lots of movies and soap operas which include; Edun Ara, Eku Meji, Igbinmo, Ransom, Tinsel and so on.
