Early Life & Background
Fiokee whose real name is Ifiok Effanga, is a Nigerian guitarist from Akwa Ibom State.
He is the fourth child in a family of six. He lost his dad in 2019
He also studied Mechanical Engineering at Delta State University.
Fiokee started music at a very tender age while in the Choir.
He began to play the guitar in the year 2000 and joined a band in 2001.
He relocated to warri, Delta State and later came to Lagos for Star Quest reality TV show in 2008 where he emerged winner with the group called “Diamonds”.
Fiokee joined the music industry in 2008 after being signed to Kennies music for a year deal.
He joined D’Banj in 2010 after playing the guitar on his song “Scape Goat”.
He worked for D’Banj for 4 years as the lead guitarist, and Cohbams for many commercials.
He floated his own record label, Fiokee records in 2016.
