Career
Vito Roque began his football career at the youth level with America Mineiro youth academy at the age of 10. He later moved to Ceuzeiro in March 2019.
He signed a professional contract with Cruzeiro on May 25, 2021, and made his debut on October 12, where he came on as a substitute for Bruno Jośe in a 0-0 hoke draw against Botafogo. He scored his first goal in a 2-2 draw against Villa Nova, and scored a brace three days later in a 5-0 away over Sergipe in the Copa do Brasil.
Roque signed a five-year contract with Athletico Paranaense on April 13, 2022, after the club activated his R$ 24 million release clause.
His talent has captured the interest of top clubs in Europe including Barcelona who are keen on signing the young star.
At the international level, Roque represented Brazil at the under-20 level before being called up to the Brazil national team by the interim head coach Ramon Menezes for a friendly match against Morocco on March 25, 2023.
