Varun Tej was born Varun Tej Konidela on January 19, 1990, in Hyderabad, India, to parents Nagendra Babu and Padmaja Konidela. His father Nagendra Babu is a popular telugu and producer. His younger sister Niharika Konidela is also an actress. He is a nephew of actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kaylan. His cousins Ram Charan, Sai Tej, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirich, and Panja Vaisshnav Tej are all actors.
He attended Bharatiya Vidya Bhaven, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, and St. Mary’s College, Hyderabad for his education.
Career
Varun Tej began acting at the age of 10 where he featured in his father’s film “Hands Up!”.
He came through professionally with his role in the film Mukunda alongside Pooja Hegde. He followed up with a role in the 2015 war film Kanche starring alongside Pragya Jaiswal.
