Sanjay Dutt was born on July 29, 1959 in a Punjabi family at Mumbai.
He is the son of the popular actors, Sunil Dutt (real name as Balraj Dutt) and Nargis (real name as Fatima Rashid).
He also has two sisters, Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt. His mother passed away in 1981.
Career
Sanjay Dutt started acting with his first role in the film “Rocky” in 1981 as directed by his father.
He came to limelight for his role in the crime thriller “Naam” in 1985.
He has starred in more than 150 films which include; Mardon Wali Baat, Kanoon Apna Apna, Jeete Hain Shaan Se and many others.
Personal Life
Sanjay dated actress, Tina Munim in the early 1980s before they parted ways.
He got married first to actress Richa Sharma in 1987 who later died of brain tumor in 1996. They have a daughter together named Trishala Dutt.
Dutt later married model Rhea Pillai in February 1998 and divorced in 2008.
He then married Dilnawaz Sheikh well known as Manyata in a Hindu ceremony in Mumbai in 2008. They welcomed tiwns, a boy and a girl on October 21, 2010.
