Early Life
Sana Mchunu was born in Soweto, South Africa on March 19, 1972. She has a sister named Ntombizodwa Kobese.
Sana had her first pregnancy at the age of 14, where she was still not all that exposed about life situations. She got pregnant again at the of 19 after refusing to listen to her parents warnings.
She revealed that it was difficult for her to mingle with her peers due to the fact that she was the only one with children at such age.
She also had to stop her education for the pregnancy. Although, it has not been known if she went back to complete her studies.
Career
Sana Mchunu became known in 2013 for her role as Grace Letsoala in the series, Vuka Mawulele.
She came to limelight for her role of Nomarashiya in the movie, Muvhango.
She has also appeared in other South African movies which include; Keeping Score, Rhythm City, iSibaya, Ring of Lies, Generation, Hope, The River and so on.

Mchunu moved in with the father of her fourth child after her parents passed away.
As she does not have a certificate, she started the work of a janitor. She really endured living with the father of her fourth child as she was faced with domestic violence. After some years, she decided to leave the house to move on with her life.
