Early Life
Prajakta Koli was born June 27, 1993, in Mumbai, India. She grew up in Thane where she had her elementary education. She was raised by her parents, her father Manoj Koli is a real estate businessman who later became a restaurer, and her mother Archana Koli is a phonetics and language teacher.
She attended Vasant Vihar High School in Thane and proceeded to V.G. Vaze College of Arts, Science, and Commerce in Mulund, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Mass Media. The college is affiliated with University of Mumbai.
Career
Prajakta Koli started up as an intern at the radio station Fever 104 FM, and later quit. She launched her comedy YouTube channel in 2015.
She worked with Bollywood actors such as Kareena Kapoor Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and so on.
Koli performed at the YouTube FanFest in Delhi in 2018 and in Mumbai in 2019. She also recorded a national TV commercial for Whatsapp in December 2018.
She was included in the annual “Cool list” of the gossip magazine Grazia India in January 2020, and also featured on the magazine cover BW Businessworld as part of their Most Influential Women’s list in April if the same year.
Koli launched her YouTube Originals show Pretty Fit in 2020, where she interviews celebrities like Mithila Palker, Sanya Malhotra, and Neha Kakkar.
She also released a short film Khayali Pulao, in July 2020, and starred in the Netflix series Mismatched in November 2020.
