Pamela Jo Bondi popularly known as Pam Bondi, is an American attorney and politician who came to prominence as the first woman elected to office after she served as the 37th Florida attorney general from 2011 to 2019.
Before being elected as Florida’s attorney general, she worked as a prosecutor and an assistant state attorney in Hillsborough County, Florida.

Early Life
Pam Bondi was born on November 17, 1965 in Tampa, Florida, United States. She is of mixed ethnicity as her family is Italian-American. Her father, Joseph Bondi, was a city council member and also Mayor of Temple Terrace.
Pamela grew up with her siblings, Beth Bondi McIntyre and Brad Bondi. She attended C. Leon King High School in Tampa for her elementary education and obtained a degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Florida.
She also obtained a Juris Doctorate from the Stetson University College of Law. She was called to the Florida Bar in 1991.
Career
Pam Bondi came through as a prosecutor and spokeswoman in Hillsborough County, Florida. During her services, she served as a criminal bureau chief and a member of the committees on vehicular homicide and internal homicide.
Bondi prosecuted the Martin Anderson death penalty defendants and came to the limelight in 2010 after being elected as Florida’s 37th Attorney General while defeating Democrat Dan Gelber. She defeated George Sheldon and Libertarian Bill Wohlsifer to win re-election in 2014.
She was a plaintiff in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act litigation. She was also appointed to the Florida Constitution Revision Commission and was one of the President Donald Trump’s defence lawyers during his first impeachment trial in 2020.
Bondi co-hosted Fox News’ The Five and also made a guest appearance on Sean Hannity’s Fox News Show in 2018.

Pam Bondi married Garret Barnes in 1990 and divorced in 1992.
She began dating Scott Fitzgerald, and they got married in 1997. The marriage was short-lived as they later parted ways in 2002.
Bondi also started a relationship with Greg Henderson, an Ophthalmologist. The two got engaged with a few guests present at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman in May 2012. Many even thought it was a wedding but it wasn’t far from it anyway.
