Early Life & Background
Omotola Adebayo hails from Ile Ife, Osun state part of Nigeria.
She is the second child in a family of six children of her parents based in the United States of America with her siblings.
She obtained a HND degree in Accounting from Osun state College of Technology, Esa Oke in 2006 and also has a bachelor degree in Accounting from the Achievers University, Owo, Ondo State. She did her compulsory Youth service at the Kogi state House of Assembly, Lokoja.
Prior to acting, she has worked for more than a decade in the Banking industry of which she resigned in 2016 to pursue her acting career.
Omotola started acting at a very early age while she was in her final year in school in 2005 but came through professionally in 2014 after joining the group “Worthy Flavor Entertainment. She came into the industry fully in 2015 after joining Kayode Adebayo’s group.
She debuted into the film industry with her first movie produced “Timu Timu” alongside Abbey Lanre. The movie also featured the likes of Funmi Awelewa, Madam Saje, Foluke Daramola, Bimbo Ogunnowo, Temitope Solaja and so on. She also followed it up with another movie produced titled “Oba Talaka”. She also has a production company, Ogaagun films, together with her brother where she has been able to produce 2 English and 6 Yoruba films with more coming on the way.
One of her challenging role is that of the film “Addict (Baraku)” where she played a victim of domestic violence where she was constantly beating by Muyiwa Ademola.
Oge as also known has starred in over 25 movies which include; Mama Londoner, Ore Ofe Kan, Pasan, Ma’ami, Tife Bankole, Two of kind and Miss Thomas, to mention a few.
Aside acting, she’s also an entrepreneur who deals in buying and selling from clothes to landed properties.
