Early Life
Omer Fedi was born on March 25, 2000, in Tel Aviv, Israel. His father, Asher Fedi, is one of the most accomplished drummers in Israel.
He was taught how to play the drums by his father at a very young age. He grew up having an interest in the guitar as inspired by Drake Bell’s character in Drake & Josh.
Fedi and his father moved to Los Angeles to explore music, where Fedi enrolled in Calabasas High School.
He entered the Reno jazz festival in 2018 and won the “Outstanding Performer” award, among other 9,000 contestants. His talent paved way for him and was approached by songwriter Sam Hook and they began to work together.
Career
Fedi who was working with Sam Hook, began to write songs for artists like Ella Mai. After completing his high school education, he began to work with Yungblud. He later started writing for other artists as well.
He composed the song Ellai Mai by Ella Mai in 2018. He composed Nothing Ever Good Enough and Industry Plant for Iann Dior in 2019. He composed and produced the song Drooped Out of College by 24kGoldn, also in 2019.
In 2020, Fedi wrote and produced the song Nicotine by Trevor Daniel. He composed and produced the songs I’m Gone by Iann Dior and F*ck Love by The Kid Laroi. He also produced and composed songs like Tickets to My Downfall by Machine Gun Kelly and Weird! by Yungblud, while also adding flavors with guitar and bass.
Fedi wrote and produced the song Montero by Lil Nas X, in 2021. In the same year, he produced Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s single “Stay”.
