Manny Jacinto was born Manuel Luis Jacinto on August 19, 1987 in Manila, Philipines. His family moved to Canada when he was only 3 years old and he grew up in Richmond, British Columbia.
Jacinto is of mixed ethnicity, of Chinese Filipino descent. He went to all-boys Catholic high school, Vancouver College and also obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at the University of British Columbia.
Career
Jacinto started his career by participating in hop-hop dance competitions before he delved into acting.
He relocated to Los Angeles and began getting small roles in series such as iZombie, Once Upon a Time and Supernatural.
He came to the limelight in 2015 for his role in the Canadian Spy drama The Romeo Section. He also got more exposure for his role as Jason Mendoza on the NBC sitcom The Good Place.
