Makida Moka is a popular Nigerian actress and model born on October 4, 1992.
Moka is well known for her role as Monye in the 2014 series Gidi Up and also as the rape victim in Emem Isong’s “Code of Silence”.

Early Life & Background
Moka was born in Cairo, Egypt to a Nigerian mother and a father from Jamaica with a Nigerian roots.
She had both her primary and secondary education in Lagos and also attended the University of Benin.
Career
Moka who had the desire to become a geologist, working for an oil company, was caught up modeling.

Makida started her career as a model and got her big break after emerging winner of the Face of Sleek Nigeria competition in 2009.
She became a brand ambassador for Frankie and co and had also worked with top designers in Nigeria which include Deola Sagoe, Tiffany Amber, Lisa Folawiyo, Bridget Awosika and many others.
For modeling, Makida admire the likes of Iman, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.
Moka who revealed her love for talented actresses such as Joke Silva, Genevieve Nnaji, Adesua Etomi and Linda Ejiorfor, started acting in 2012 where she played the role of Monye in the tv series “Gidi Up” alongside OC Ukeje.
She also played the role of rape victim in “Code of Silence” and starred as Melanie in crime comedy series “Inspector K” and as Indian Ninja in the romantic comedy “Banana Island Ghost”.
Personal Life
Makida Moka got engaged to her boo, Oliver Onyekweli in November 2018. She revealed that she met her husband at the Olumo Rock. She shared her wedding invitation on Instagram in a stylish way where was seen looking like a typical Nigerian passport.
