Libianca was born Libianca Kenzonkinboum Fonji in 2001, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States and she is originally from Bamenda, Cameroon.
She moved to Cameroon at the age of 4 alongside her brother and then moved back when she was 13 years old.

Libianca is a multi-talented Afrobeat single with blend of R&B and Soul sounds.
She began writing songs at the age of 10 and was also involved in the choir. She signed a local record deal at the age 15, and then she learned engineering and recording.
She developed her passion for music with music influences from the likes of Beyonce, Shakira, Rihanna, and Keyshia Cole.
She participated in the twenty-first season of American TV show The Voice in 2021 where she got to the top 20.
She got signed to 5k Records and RCA Records. She came through with different freestyles and covers to popular songs, one of such is Bilie Eilish’s “Everything I Wanted”.
She eventually came to the limelight for her record breaking single “People” as released in 2022. The song caught the attention of music lovers across the globe with lots of covers on the Tik Tok platform. It also debuted No. 2 on the US Billboard Afrobeats Chart.
The singer revealed that her song “People” was recorded when she had Cyclothymia, which I’d a mood disorder. She entered the studio and used the opportunity to express herself through music.
However, popular Nigerian artists such as Ruger, Q-dot and Portable have also dished out their own covers to the song.
