Early Life
Keppy Ekpenyong was born on March 21 in Yaba area of Lagos State. He is originally from Ikot Atuen, Oku-Iboku, in Itu local government area of Akwa-Ibom State, South-South part of Nigeria. He is the third child in a family of six children.
He went to Corona School, Victoria Island and Government College, Ojo Secondary School, for his primary and secondary education respectively.
He obtained a bachelor of arts degree in Linguistics from the University of Calabar in Cross River State. He also obtained a Master’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos.
Career
Before fame, Ekpenyong worked with Nigerian Television Autbority (NTA) during his NYSC, where he functioned in the programmes Department and worked as an interim under the supervision of the Nigerian director, Tade Ogidan. He was trained in Script-Writing, producing and presenting.
Ekpenyong began acting in the role of airplane pilot Hassan Suleman in the Nigerian soap opera, Ripples.
He delved into home video and co-produced the movie “Unforgiven Sin” in 1993.

He has featured in numerous movies which include; Total Control, Second Chance,Nneka The Pretty Serpent, Double Game, Hire a Man and many others.
