Jumoke George is a popular Nigerian veteran actress and television presenter born on February 18.
Jumoke hails from Ibadan part of Oyo state ansd also studied Business administration at Technical College, Osogbo, Osun state.
She grew up with her father who is a retired lieutenant colonel in the Nigerian army.
She was disowned by her father at the age of 8 and rejected by her mother likewise.
Jumoke started acting at the age of 6 while participating in stage productions.
She started professionally under the tutelage of comrade Victor Ashaolu for 11 years.
It would interest you to know that she was never properly married. She had two children for her first husband whom she left because of constant beating and humiliation. She also had a child for the second man in her life who was already married.
It was really a hard time for her during during those days where she got pissed off with producers not giving her roles because she rejected their intimate advances and that’s exactly how she stayed off the scene for 13 years before she realized that there’s more to what she can do.
Jumoke was introduced into broadcasting and started presenting different programmes for television station such as LTV8, MITV and Yotomi TV.
She attended Mount Camel Bible School and World of Faith Bible Institute and got certificate in Theology.
