Early Life
EST Gee was born on May 11, 1994 in Missouri, United States. He grew up in Louisville, Kentucky with his father. His mother passed away in 2020 which was followed by the death of his brother.
He earned an Athletic Scholarship to study at Indiana State University but later dropped out of school to pursue a career in music.
Career
He found passion for music while in school where he came up with the name, E.S.T which means Everybody Shines Together while the Gee was coined from his own name, George.
He came through with two albums “El Toro” and “Die Bloody” in 2019 and in March 2020, he released another album “Ion Feel Nun” which comprises of 7 tracks.
He eventually came to limelight in December 2020 with the release of his album “I Still Don’t Feel Nun” where he worked alongside the American rapper and songwriter, Yo Gotti.
However, E.S.T Gee was signed by Yo Gotti to his CMG (Collective Music Group) record label in January 2021. The same year, he released the music video to the sing “EST Gee x 42 Dugg-members Only” which had over 5.7 million views. As if it wasn’t enough, Gee also followed up with two hit singles “Young Shiners” and “Phetamine”.
Controversies
He was arrested in 2016 for trafficking marijuana and also got shot 5 times in September 2019 in a video shoot in Atlanta.
