Career
Tay came through professionally in 2017 with her debut single “Lewis & Clark” and followed it up with another release titled “Na Na”. She rose to fame in 2018 for her single “Trapper’s Delight” which was given a befitting visual that boast og over 1.2 million views on YouTube in less than a month. She later released her debut EP, DUH! in November that same year.
She released lots of singles in 2019 which include the likes of; Ride Around, High School, IMAX and in the same year, she released her debut album, Hurricane Tay, which comprised of 16 tracks with features from DaBaby and YNW Melly.
She further gained more exposure in March 2020 with her single ” Bussin” whi h went viral on the video sharing platform, Tik Tok. Bussin remix was also released alongside Saweetie in July 2020.
She signed a record deal with Interscope/Greffen records in 2021.
