Early Life & Background

Emelia was born on January 6, 1982 and raised in Akyem Swedru at the Eastern region of Ghana.

She attended Akyem Swedru Secondary School and had trained to be a teacher at the Presbyterian Teacher’s Training College.

She has a diploma in Journalism, a bachelors degree in Human Resource Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and also holds an ICM certificate in Broadcast Journalism.

Career

Brobbey has starred in numerous movies such as; Seed of Rejection, Adofoasa, Asantewaa, Asem Asa, Kae, Kofi Sika and many others.

As a singer, she came through with her first single “Fa me ko” in 2019 and followed it up with another one “Odo Electric” in January 2020.

Personal Life

Emelia Brobbey has been through lots of relationships and had also been married before which ended shortly after it began.

She got married to Dr. Boateng in 2010 but wasn’t long before they went their separate ways due to alleged insecurities.

Emelia is a single mother of two sons, her first son was born while she was still learning to become a teacher while her second son, Randy (born on June 13, 2013) is from her marriage.
