Clara Amoateng Benson well known as Maame Serwaa is an award winning Ghanaian actress born on August 19, 2000.
Clara Benson was born and raised in Kumasi by her parents; Rose Benson and Opanyin Kwabena Nyame.
She had her secondary education at Serwaa Nyarko’s Girls’ Senior High School and was awarded a four year degree scholarship to study at the Knutsford University College located in East Legon, Accra.
Career
Maame Serwaa started acting at a tender age of 6.
She has starred in numerous movies such as; Sekina, Tumi, Akokoa, Few Good men, School Girl, Me Ba, Maame Serwaa Amanehunu, Seed of Rejection and many others.
She got featured on BBC Africa’s documentary on the Thriving Ghanaian Movie Industry in April 2018.
