Born Ekenedilichukwu Umenwa Cynthia on August 27, 1991 in a Christian family to parents Mr Dozie Umenwa and Mrs Ugoamaka Umenwa. She is from Anambra state and Igbo by Tribe. Her siblings are Kate Martins and Somto Umenwa.
She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at Ebonyi State University.
Career
Ekene began acting in 2011 with a role in the movie King After Kings where she starred alongside Maureen Solomon and Kenneth Okonkwo.
