David Julian Dobrik (born July 23, 1996) known with the moniker, David Dobrik, is a Slovakian-American internet sensation who came to prominence for his posts on the video sharing platform Vine.
He is the co-founder of the photography app, Dispo. He was named by Paper Magazine as one of the “10 Social Media Personalities Making The Most Noise” for 2018.

Early Life
David Dobrik was born in Kosice, Slovakia on July 23, 1996 to parents, Mr Pavo Dobrik and Mrs Dobrik. He has three siblings, two sisters and a brother which include; Ester Dobrik, Sara Dobrik, Toby Dobrik.
He went to Vernon Hills High School after his family moved to Vernon Hills, Illinois, at the age of six.
Career
Dobrik began his career on the Vine platform in 2013 where he teamed up with other famous Viners which include the likes of Jason Nash, Liza Koshy and Gabbie Hanna.
He unveiled his self titled YouTube channel in 2015 where he make comedy vlogs on real life situations while featuring some of his former Vine collaborators.
Dobrik gained more attention for his exciting and energetic video which comprises of pranks and various jokes. He was given a Diamond Play By YouTube in recognition of him surpassing 10 million subscribers on his channel, in December 2018.
Paper Magazine named him as one of the “10 Social Media Personalities Making The Most Noise” for 2018. He was named by People Magazine as Sexiest Heartthrob of 2019.
He was featured by Variety magazine in their annual “Power of Young Hollywood” list in August 2019 and was ranked the most popular media personality among teenagers based on a survey by the Piper Jaffray & Co.

Aside being a Vlogger, Dobrik became a judge in a musical competition on Nickledeon known as America Most Musical Family, in 2019, alongside Debbie Gibson and Ciara.
Dobrick launched his mobile camera app, Dispo, in January 2020 and as at then, he already had over a million downloads and got to the top of the list for most popular free apps on Apple’s App Store.
He also launched his fragrance brand David’s Perfume with Flower Shop Perfumes Co, in October 2020.

Dobrik got married to Lorraine Nash in 2019 and also divorced in 2019.
He was in a relationship with Liza Koshy, an American YouTuber and actress from 2015 and parted ways in 2018.
