Daniel Etim Effiong is a Nigerian actor, filmmaker and storyteller born on June 24.
Ettim Effiong was born in Jaji, Kaduna State and grew up in different states including Edo State, Lagos State and later moved to Abuja.
He attended St Mary’s Private School, Lagos Island and Government College Ikorodu, Lagos for his primary and secondary education respectively.
He studied Chemical Engineering at Federal University of Technology, Minna.
He studied Film Marketing, Writing and Directing at the AFDA Film School in South Africa. He also studied Film Making at the University of Johannesburg.
Daniel is amazingly talented, he owns every character and can fit into any role with perfect interpretation of scripts.
Before Fame
Prior to acting, he had worked as an engineer in the oil and gas industry.
He also worked as a content producer at Ndani Television.
Career
Daniel Etim Effiong started his acting career in 2011 with Nigeria’s first web series Goddamit it’s Monday and then Ndani’s TV’s Gidi Up as the infamous Folarin.
He doubled as an actor/character model for TV commercials before he eventually got a role as Adze in South African soap opera, Generations: The Legacy.

He has starred in numerous Nollywood movies, Television series, television commercials and stage productions.
He his most notable for his roles as Evander Obi on Africa Magic’s Battleground, Mike Amenechi on Ebonylife’s Castle & Castle, Lanre from The Men’s Club and also as Dele Coker in the Kenyan film, Plan B.
He is also known for his recent plays such as; Shift let me Faint as produced by Gbagyi Child Entertainment and Threesome by Jide Idada.
Daniel has worked with top actors such as Shaffy Bello, Blossom Chukwujekwum, Sharon Ooja, Moshood Fattah and many others.

Ettim Effiong got engaged to his wife, Toyosi in June 2017 with the traditoanl wedding and Church wedding on November 2 and November 4 respectivley. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter in January 2019.
His wife, Toyosi Etim-Effiong is a Digital Media Strategist, creator and curator of short form content.
