Cosmas Maduka (born December 24, 1958) is a well known Nigerian entrepreneur and philanthropist. He came to prominence as the founder and chairman of the Cosmaris Group, a business conglomerate with interest in Manufacturing, Automobile Sales and Services, Agric and Agro allied business sectors and ICT. It also boast of more than 26 branches nationwide.

Early Life
Cosmas Maduka was born on December 24, 1958 in Nnewi, Anambra state, into an Igbo Christian family of Mr Peter and Mrs Rose Maduka.
His father passed away when he was barely 4 years old. He dropped out of primary school and started selling Bean Cake, to support his mother.
Career
Maduka’s entrepreneurial journey started up at the age of 6 and came through formally into business at the age of 17, where he co-founded a spare part company alongside his friend, Dave. Although the business did not prove to be a success but Maduka never relent on his effort.
Soon, he found the Coscharis Motors, whose main focus is on sales of automobile spare parts in 1977. According to him, the name of the company is a combination of his name, Cosmas and that of his wife, Charity.

Maduka eventually became successful in the business after he was granted import license by the government. Coscharis Motors became the sole distributors of the BMW in Nigeria as at 2015. It became a leading distributors of several brands of luxuries cars such as Ford, Jaguar and Range Rover.
It also became the first company to build an Assmbly plant of Ford Ranger in Nigeria. The company won the Auto Brand of the Year at the Marketing World awards which took place in Ghana.
Coscharis Group, which is one of the too brands in Nigeria, is a conglomerate with numerous subsidiaries which include; ICT, Auto care and Auto components, Petrochemical, Automobile Sales and Services, Agric and Agro allied business sectors.
However, Maduka made known that his succes is attributed to his affiliation with the Japanese and a close contact with them had made him develop values of commitment and hardwork.

Personal Life
Cosmas Maduka got married to his wife, Charity Maduka, in 1978, and their union is blessed with four sons and a daughter.
Maduka’s wife, Charity, died on November 27, in Nnewi, Anambra State. She was born on January 15, 1958. She attended Teachers training College in Anambra State from 1979 to 1981. She also attended Consertum Institute of training and Hotel Management in Lagos State.
She was a trained professional teacher and caterer.
She became the vice president of Coscharis Group and also the executive director supervising the administrative, legal works, technogy teams of the organization from 1984 to 2003.
Awards & Recognition
Maduka has been recignized for his efgort in the business sector. He was given an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration (Phd) University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He served as the chairman of the Nigerian Tabel Tennis Federation for 16 years, and was also honored by President Goodluck Jonathan with the National Honours of the Commander of the Order of Niger (CON) in 2012.
