Early Life

Okafor originally hails from Idemili-South local government area of Anambra State.

She obtained a bachelors degree in Business Administration from the Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka, Anambra State.

Career

Chioma completed her film school in 2017 and have been active in the creative industry since 2018.

The beautiful actress worked as a presenter on a show on NTA (Nigerian Television Authority) called “Hanging Out” in 2018. She became a major part of “Nollywood Scoundrels”, a comic and legendary stage play as directed by Sunkanmi Adebayo. The stage play has been performed in notable places including the Lagos Theatre festival, Terra Kulture.

Still in 2018, she starred in quite lots of movies which include; the cinema movie “Getting Over Him” alongside, Majid Michel, Matilda Obaseki, as directed by Desmond Elliot with production credit from Uduak Isong. “Almost a Virgin” alongside Bimbo Ademoye, Ifeanyi Kalu, Gifty Powers and Ireti Osayemi, as directed by Emem Isong- Misodi and produced by Alice Motieri.

She also starred as a lead actress in the movie “The Village” alongside Rekiya Yusuf, Charles Okocha and so on, as produced by the Royal Entertainment Network.

Chioma became a force to reckon with in the industry in 2019. She was part of the powerful piece “HearWord Pidgin” created by Mrs Ifeoma Fafunwa alongside powerful women at the National Theatre, Iganmu Lagos State.

She became well known for her role as Monica on the most talked about series of all times “Superstory Monica”. In the same year, she starred in the popular Africa magic series “Brethren” and some other movies such as “Rejected Stone” and “Seducing Mr Perfect”.

More wins for the actress in 2020 as she continued to feature in lots of movies ever since she came to limelight.

She starred in “Turning Tables” on Amazon prime alongside Ben Lugo Touitou, Uche Nwafuena. “Adaife” alongside Nancy Isime, Alex Cross and Gbubemi Ejeye.”From a Distance” with Eddie Watson and Emem Inwang. “Love Duty” with Ijeoma Grace-Agu, Uzor Arukwe and Belinda Yanga. “Season of the Vow” alongside Kunle Remi and Okey Uzoeshi.

She is currently part of the ongoing Africa Magic Epic series “Riona”.

Aside acting, Chioma Okafor is also a commercial model who has featured in several advertisements for top brands across the country.
