Benjamin Shapiro is an American media host, columnist and political commentator. He came to prominence for his Ben Shapiro Show, a daily political podcast and live radio show and also known for writing columns for creators Syndicate, Newsweek and Ami Magazine.
He became the youngest nationally syndicated columnist in America at the age of 17. He is also an author having written up to seven books. He is the co-founder of TruthRevolt, an activism website, alongside Jeremy Boreing.

Early Life
Ben Shapiro was born on January 15, 1984 in Los Angeles, California, United States to a Jewish family. He is of mixed ethnicity of Russian-Jewish and Lithuanian-Jewish descent. His father, David Shapiro worked as a composer while his mother was an executive of a TV company.
He has a sister named Abigail Shapiro, who is an opera singer. He is also a cousin of Mara Wilson, a sensational writer and actress.
He attended Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles in Westside, Los Angeles. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Career
Shapiro developed interest in politics at a very tender age and at the age of 17, he began a nationally syndicated column and had written two books at the age of 21.
Prior to fame, he worked at the law offices of Goodwin Procter. He later ran an independent consultancy firm, Benjamin Shapiro Consulting, in Los Angeles, in March 2012.
He became an editor-at-large of Breitbart News, in 2012 and resigned in 2016.
He co-founded TruthRevolt, an activism website, alongside business partner, Jeremy Boreing, on October 7, 2013.
Shapiro released his first and to date only fiction novel, True Allegiance in 2017 and in 2019, he published the book, The Right Side of History: How Reason and Moral Purpose Made the West Great. He followed up with another book, The Authoritarian Moment which he published in 2021.
He was featured as a guest writer for Politico’s Playbook newsletter on January 14, 2021, as he defended House Republicans who opposed the second impeachment of Donald Trump.
As a host, Shapiro became part of KRLA-AM 870 on their morning radio program in 2012, alongside Brian Whitman and Heidi Harris.

He founded The Daily Wire alongside Boreing, on September 21, 2015. He was the editor Emeritus and also the host of his online political podcast, The Ben Shapiro Show and in September 2018, he began to host The Ben Shapiro Election Special on Fox News.

Ben Shapiro married Mor Toledano in 2008 and their union is blessed with three children: two daughter and a son. The couple lived in Los Angeles and they practice Orthodox Judaism.
His wife, Mor Toledano, is an Israeli medical doctor and also of moroccan descent.
However, Shapiro announced in September 2020 that he and his family were relocating as they later settled in South Florida.
