Early Life
Bayanni was born on June 25, 1997, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He was raised by his parents alongside his siblings. He grew up in a Christian family and spent most of his early years in Lagos City.
He had both his primary and secondary education in Lagos State before proceeding to Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) to further his education.
Career
Bayanni fell in love with music at a very early age. From being in the church choir to writing songs, he began to develop his passion for music.
He decided to focus on mainstream music instead of gospel songs, with music influences from the likes of Burnaboy, Olamide, Wizkid and Davido, while also being exposed to music genres of Afrobeats, Highlife, R&B, and Pop sounds.
He began to do more freestyles and covers of songs like Felony by Ckay, Peru by Fireboy, and Jowo by Davido. He released his single African Beauty on April 12, 2022, as produced by Blaise Beatz, mixed and mastered by Michael Synx. The song was accompanied by an amazing visual shot by Pharouk Damilola Films.
He also has other exciting releases such as BMW, Ballerina, and Duro featuring Frescool.
Bayanni, who was rumoured to be a Davido Music Worldwide artist, was unveiled as a new artist under the Don Jazzy imprint Mavin Records on August 23, 2022. He was announced in a big and special way, in a video which seems to be like a laboratory test being carried out on him, by the Nigerian comedians, Sabinus (Mr funny) and Brain Jotter.
As the latest Mavin Records artist, he introduced his music to the world with the release of a new project titled “Bayanni EP”, produced by Don Jazzy. The extended project comprises four tracks, which include Family, Ta Ta, Kala, and Body.
