Born Adeola Olubukola Awodein née Thompson on May 22, 1970, in Phorzime Germany, to parents, Rev. Engr and Mrs Oluwole Thompson.
She obtained a bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the Udman Danfodio University, Sokoto. She studied Hotel Management at the Yaba College of Technology and also dida few courses at the Lagos Business School LBS in 2000.

Adeola had passion for acting at a very early stage. She started doing stage productions and was extremely good at it.
She became known for her role as Zira on the Africa Magic Series, Dilemma.
She came to the limelight for her role of Aunty’s Labake in the Showmax television series “Wura”.
The telenovela “Wura” focuses on Wura-Amoo Adeleke, a perfect wife, caring mother of two, and the CEO of the Fictional Frontline Gold Mine. Wura lives a double life; an ‘iron lady’ when dealing with her business venture and a devoted woman to her family. Other cast of the series “Wura” include: Ray Adeka, Scarlet Gomez, Yomi Fash-Lanso, Martha Ehinome, Ropo Ewenla, Ego Ogbaro, Iremide Adeoye, Lanre Adediwura, Tersy Akpata, Olumuyiwa Donald, Rhoda Albert and Casey Edema.
