Yael Stone (born March 6, 1985) is a popular Australian actress who came to prominence for her role of Lorna Morello in the Netflix series, Orange is the New Black.
She is also known for her roles As You Like It and All Spirited. She is an advocate for women’s rights.

Yael Stone was born on March 6, 1985 in Sydney, South Wales, Australia to parents: Judy who is a nurse and Harry Stone, an architect.
She is of mixed ethnicity as her father is from Jewish family while her mother is of Romanian descent.
She has a brother named Jake Stone, who is a singer of the band Bluejuice and a sister, Elena Stone, who is also a musician.
She went to the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).
Career
Stone began acting at a very tender age with roles in the movie Me Myself and I and in the miniseries The Farm.
She made appearance on television with supporting roles in All Saints and Spirited. She also had a lead roles in the likes of Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, As You Like It and A Golem Story.
Stone eventually rose to fame for her role as Lorna Morello in the Netflix series Orange is the New Black. She also made appearance on the HBO and web series, High Maintenance.

Stone got married to Australian actor, Dan Spielman in 2012 and they parted ways in 2017.
She began to date AIME memtoring founder, Jack Manning Bancroft and they welcomed a baby girl together on May 30, 2018.
