Vivian Metchie is a veteran Nigerian actress, movie producer, director, scriptwriter and entrepreneur born on February 18.

Vivian originally hails from Anambra State.

She is a graduate of Theatre Arts.

Her father is a catholic while her mother is a member of Deeper Life Bible Church.

Career

Vivian Metchie came into the Nigerian movie industry in 1996 with her first role in the movie “Dangerous”.

She came to limelight with her role in the TV series “Candle Light”

She was off the screen for a while before she finally came back with full force.

Ever since her return, she got featured in Funke Akindele’s “Majele Ife”, Stephanie’s “Dry”, Last Days, Fire on the Mountain, Worst Marriage and the recent one is her role as ‘Mrs Aberuagba’ in the TV series “My Siblings & I”.

She has also produced more than 3 movies.

She has worked with the likes of Shan George, Kate Henshaw, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Tony Umez and so on.

Personal Life

Vivian Metchie got married and blessed with 4 children. Her 11 year old marriage crashed in 2014, living her with four kids to care for.

Vivian also converted from Christianity to Islam in same year.
