Jeudy was among the top 25 semi-finalists in the Miss New York beauty competition in her time in college.
She came into acting professionally and starred in numerous short films before she eventually got a recurring role as Janae Watson in the Netflix series Orange is the New Black.
She also got more exposure with a television debut in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She co-starred in the Independent film Romeo and Juliet in Harlem.
