Vanina Noemi Correa is an Argentine professional footballer born on August 14, 1983.
Correa is known for her playing position as a goalkeeper for the Argentina Women’s national team and the club side, Rosario Central.
She is a beautiful mother of twins whom she gave birth to on February 24, 2014.
She has got a good height of 5 feet 11 inches and has been able to showcase her talent on the field of play.
Correa has been at the goal post for the likes of Banfield, Boca Juniors, Renato Cesarini and Social Lux.
She made her debut at the international scene at the inaugural match of the 2007 FIFA Women’s world cup against Germany where Argentina was defeated by 11-0.
She became the starting goalkeeper for the following year at the 2008 Summer Olympics Women’s football tournament.
Correa retired from football a year after Argentina failed to qualify for the 2011 FIFA Women’s World cup.
She was later persuaded into a national team come back in 2017 and had played in all seven of Argentina;s matches at the 2018 Copa America Feminine.
Vanina Correa has been exceptional at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World cup. She made a lot of saves including a penalty kick in their match against England whom they lost to by 1-0.
