Ummah Shehu also known as Umma Shehu is an award winning Kannywood actress known for her role in the movie ‘Sa-in-sa’ alongside Adam Zango.
She attended Sheik Abubakar Gumi College Kaduna and school of health technology, Kaduna.
Ummah was introduced into the Hausa film industry by top actor Tijjani Asase.
She has revealed her acting influence as the likes of Ali Nuhu, Yakubu Mohammed and Falau Dorayi.
The Kaduna based actress has starred in numerous hausa films such as Hawan Dare, Wuta Kai Kayi, Maliya and Da’aira.
Ummah was once married befoe she divorced. She’s a single mother with a daughter.
Ummah Shehu has won several awards including Best Hausa Actress at 2015 City People Entertainment Award.
