Ugwumba Uche Nwosu ( born August 8, 1975) popularly known as Uche Nwosu, is a Nigerian politician and former Deputy Chief of Staff to the Imo state Government from 2011 to 2013.
He also became the Commissioner for Lands from 2013 to 2015 and was the Chief of staff from 2015 to 2019.

Uche Nwosu was born on August 8, 1975 into the family of late Rev. Daniel Nwaobi and mrs Jemaimah Nwaou.
He is originally from Nkwere local government area of Imo State.
He had his primary education at Shehu Sanda Kerimi primary school, Maiduguri and went to Government secondary school, Gubia, Borno State before he later attended Comprehensive Secondary School Eziama – Obaire, Nkwere, where he completed his secondary school education.
He obtained a Bachelors degree in Urban and Regional planning from Imo State University.
Nwosu has always had passion for politics at the early stage where he was the Student Union Government director of transport during his University days.
He began his political career as a special adviser to the then Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, and was later appointed commissioner.
He contested for the gubernatorial seat for Imo state under the Action Alliance Party (AA) on March 9, 2019 and lost to Chuwkuemeka Ihedioha of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with a total votes of 190,364 against 273,404. Chukwuemeka Ihedioha was declared winner and the Governor elect by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Uche Nwosu is happily married to Uloma Nwosu, in January 2013 and they have three sons together.
His wife, Uloma is the first daughter of his Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo state.
